Rarely in wedding pictures do we see a sophisticated use of motion and depth of field. All the details work here, especially the man walking in the background and the way the cars blur as well. The shoes are great, the flowers, the glance. For me, the girl's expression is less than great and the two poles with white tops could be toned down a bit. The whiter dress sparkles so beautifully. This is great stuff, wedding, documentary, and Micki all in one.

I saw this when I did it at first and went oh wonderful I captured them and there is a blur and then I went oh great there is a blur.

It facinated me and I went I loved it.

There are several pictures like this and she loved them. There is one I might post where she is going down the stairs in motion and it is really cool but I am so afraid to get slammed for some reason. WHY? because it isn't the norm.

WHY am I so afraid of not fitting in all the sudden?

Have I conformed?

OMG!

It is driving me crazy that I think that I have to be normal yet this bride LOVED this stuff. She thought it was wonderful and this was why she hired me. I mean she got ANDREW as a bonus and he took wonderful, fantastic photo's of her but she wanted this retro, me, my kind of shots and for me this is ME!

(sigh)

I will do as you said tone down those light posts for my portfolio as I see what you are saying. Now they might have gone contrasty in the reduction for PN. I'll have to look.

Thank you so much for saying something on this picture.

I had several people say harsh things on some of my pictures and so many 3's that it really hurt.

Now maybe I'll post other stuff.

I really need some uplifting support on my photography "art" (sigh)

It's hard to differentiate it sometimes when people say things like "you shouldn't PRACTICE on their wedding day" when this is exactly what I planned to do.

I have Andrew doing the normal stuff.

blah

ok, rant over.

It's the BRIDES day and we do what she wants and she hired me right?

This is ME! :)
