The myth of the forbidden apple is a strong one, stamped in the human memory and history.

Thanks for your thoughts

lacks contrast and it's noisy and dark... but it's fascinating: it has a certain mood that I can't describe but fascinates me, maybe it's the forbidden fruit ? Brava, thank you for sharing, Giuseppe

An original and highly atmospheric composition, Pnina. I also think that the woman in the window would, by herself, be even more effective. I love the reflections in the glass and the framing of the window.

I don't know what myth this represents, but my immediate thought is that we all live under a personal myth in which we tell ourselves a story about who we are and why we are and live under those crafted assumptions.

Here, she has her own face separated and looking back at her. She is trying to cover herself from her own prying and critical eyes. She is studying herself. Perhaps the myth will hold under her own scrutiny. Perhaps not.

Guiseppe, , I have lighted it a bit, but my aim was to post process it dark...

Thanks for your thoughts .

Roger, In the larger mode she looks ( on my screen) effective. The scene took place at the very end of the stage, and she was behind a glass door there. It was right for my purpose...

Jeff, the idea was looking backward, ... the ambiguity is intentional, and so, your narrative were composed by your own thoughts., I like that, it is an interesting point , to see how it affects the viewer.. ;-))

Feel to me that she is doing some soul-searching. A picture will many possibilities to one's imagination.

Interesting and quite original scene, Pnina. The composition and atmosphere are unique. Good shot! Best regards!

the strength of her face is mesmerizing and those faces to the side make me feel like they are they different faces of her. This is fantastic. The fact that their is no hair makes it all the more intriguing. The fact that she has no clothing over her shoulders makes her vulnerable. This is wonderful. Shadows and all!

Well, this is certainly something unexpected from you although just as theatrical in a way as your dance pictures. The theme has been beautifully handled; it has an internal coherence which resounds more intuitively than rationally . More of these to come?

Really emotional scene.Amazing mood.I would like it more if there was waterdrops or rainfall(artificial rain)was falling on the window glasses to make it more emtional !I am also interested in B&W shots in closeground !Just the shadow on her forehead is not playing good role in this worK.Regards

Jack, the answer is yes, there is more, all sorts, I take from the dance what I can interpret and connect to, with my own life, experiece and being.... Life as a dance ....

Jose, thanks as well.

Afshin, we wrote together, thanks for expressing your point of view, rain was not part of my thinking here.... on her forehead is her hair not shadow...;-))

A beautiful image, Pnina. I like the way you processed it, like a painting. Religion, Philosophy, Literature, Drama, Dance, Painting. This image definitely connects us to a lot of noble domains of the mind and spirit, hence its power I guess.

Yes, like Giuseppe Pasquali says, it can be also ditticult to read, but only if one use only the body's eyes!...but luckily we have also the soul's eyes!...A great image, for me!...Ciaomau!

On the outside looking in and feeling sad and discouraged or simply pensive in her soul searching. You captured a dark mood in soft light and with a well chosen crop.
