Reminds me of roads I had to walk as a kid. you know, lonely and very scary at night. I always ran that last half mile home at a full bore. Great capture but I would try for a little more detail in the shadow area. Still rocks the way it is...RAY

Now here is an image with lots of drama - well balanced with black at the bottom and at the top. Then you have fabulous skies that have been very well exposed. One could go for a triple exposure with post-processing to get some details at the bottom but for some strange reason I am cool with what I see here even though I usually don't like 'empty spaces' in an image. The only potential distractions I have are the horizontal wires running through the image but I would have still taken this shot even if I could not shift my location to get the wires out of the image. I keep reminding myself that beauty is in the eye of the beholder when I look at some of the low ratings for this image. I guess I am not the only one that experiences that ocassionally.
