Discussing Dali

Wonderful image. You seem to have well captured the youthful enthusiasm and the magic of the moment. I'm not sure how you got the light to be so magical. The painting I would expect to be well lit, but the light on the back of the boys is superb. The boy's arm with the motion blur works very well. Kudos to you for this one. It's really good.

This is really good, Laurent. The boys are exactly what boys should be, all enthusiam and curiousity and wild imagination. Love the left hand so desriptively expressive while the right stays scrunched up in his pocket. You could never get a pose to approach this moment of reality. I really like everyhting about it (now where have I heard that before?). In a way it also remind me of that scene in Roman Holiday where Grgory Peck sticks his hand in the mouth of the statue. I'll tell you, I don't think you can do it better than this. Classic!

Laurent, traveling a bit in your files, I liked this one instantly. what a great timing of a real interest of children in art.Dali is a good example why they are there, and the funny way thier hands are reviling the simple childish and innocent way they observe the painting.( I mean not in a pompous way....;-))
