marleft 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Thank you Giuliano for your 6/6. It's priceless to me because it comes from a real master of art photography ! Link to comment
mikelgondra 0 Posted October 7, 2008 From my modest opinion, Marios, Variation 4 is too abstract for me and I am not the good person to make a critique to that. Version 2 is too bright and a little agressive for my eyes. I am doubting between versions 1 and 3 as my favourites but undoubtely I prefer Variation 1 what I feel more equilibrated and more "photographic". Variation 3 looks like a painting for me, even if it is very attractive, bt I prefer the objects contrast, shadowed background and color tones in this Variation 1. What a work, if I would use a cap, I would do a reverence for it. What kind of objects did you use to make the original shot ??? If it is not a "magicians" secret, which can not be revealed to the general audience. Gau on - good nigt in our basque language - that you learn quick. Josemi Gondra. Link to comment
marleft 0 Posted October 8, 2008 Thank you Josemi for your detailed critique. I deeply appreciate your thoughts and ideas about my variations photo series and I wish some of our fellow photographers, follow your example and start making the same serious critique work as you did. I had no object as a model in order to do all the work of the variations. In fact there was no initial shot but only PC digital work, my imagination and the piece of mind I had during my vacations this year, in Andros island. Regards and "icusi arte" Link to comment
