jan_piller 0 Posted August 2, 2008 Great idea GB!! This is MY kind of music! I wouldn't mind this in a landscape crop too... there's alot of moss up there and I find it takes the glory away from the splash and ripples. I suspect you cropped it this way to show the little drop falling... I'm not sure that little drop in front of the moss is all that important... just sayin.... I like the shot! Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted August 2, 2008 this would be a real close crop. I kick around the tighter crop, didn't think about the landscape.... Thanks.... good input.. Link to comment
anthonyd 0 Posted August 2, 2008 Really like the interpretation of the title. As you mentioned, if the drops had been in focus it would work better. I actually took this into PS and sharpened the drops and blurred the moss. It looked a bit better but I realized that one other thing was still throwing it off. The fact that the main drop is hitting over that very dark green moss seems to be stoping it from really kicking out. Odd because I would think that it would do exactly the opposite. Link to comment
dennis jones 0 Posted August 2, 2008 with any I took... I'm having to shoot this from over head while laying down... I'm going to try it today when sunlight and ISO 100...Besides, the frog will need feeding later...;O) Link to comment
