The falls are beautiful and the water takes on solid shapes. But I get the impression that the rocks at the bottom and the people were layered in. I've been wrong before though.

Hi Ray, thank you for your comment. We all have questioned the authenticity of digital photographs from time to time. Honestly I would ask the same thing if I see something like this. To answer your question: No, the rock and the people were not layered in. I did crop the image, changed the white balance to daylight, increased the contrast a bit, resized and USM'ed a bit before posting. No hard feeling, sincerely Nate. :-)

Wow! Fabulous composition, and after seeing the original you posted, kudos for days on your crop. The silhouette of the people seems to adds perspective and grandeur and power of the waterfall.

I like this. The people add a sense of scale and calmness to the fierceness of the falls. My only complaint is that the water seems blown out.

The almost silhouettes really make this image work big time. Very beautiful, and this waterfall must look impressive from up close.
