The Savara River at Pian del Nivolet, at the heart of the Gran Paradiso

National Park in Italy. Taken a week ago at sunset, the picture is a

stitch of three horizontal frames, and a 4x GND was used for the upper

frame.

Great picture, did the sky change after this shot, did you take more of the same scene?

Hi Donald,

thanks for commenting. Well, the sky was changing fast, as a strong wind was blowing (this plase is at more than 2500 m of altitude).

I took another picture of this place a few minutes earlier, you can see it here:

And a few minutes later, from a pov placed higher in the valley and aiming to the opposite direction:

In this second picture, the sun had already set and as often happen at high altitude, the wind suddenly calmed down.
