You got everything, the eyes, shadow, freezed wings and nice exposure. Great treat to our eyes.
Beautiful inflight Snowy Owl 7/7 regards Peter
Great capture. Really like the inclusion of the shadow. Great image.

Squeak!! If I was a vole I'd be saying my prayers right now... and as a photo.net member I'd pick this as one of the absolute best bird photos I've seen here to date: pure perfection, including the purple tinge of the snow and the subtle bokeh of the sprinkling of light reflections from ice crystals.
Great photograph. No nitpicks from me. Everything about this shot is right on.
Almost perfect! It would have been really perfect if the snow was white instead of bluish gray, too dark to be seen as a snow! PDE
Fantastic picture - a beauty
very nice picture
Jody, this is gorgeous, one of the best images of a Snowy Owl that I have seen.
Stunning capture! Love the way you could capture full shadow in the same frame.
outstanding capture!!! superb light handling in a most difficult situation
Great ! And above all, thanks for sharing all of the technicall details, so we can learn more. Greetings from Patagonia.
