tm_j 30 Posted July 31, 2008 Thanks Monte, it's a lucky shot since I was shooting the chick and know the mother is coming but had no idea that she is going to feed the chick. I shot without knowing this is what's happening. Birdshot are 50% luck but this one is 95% luck :-) . I am going back tomorrow, wish me luck! From what I understand Swallow are unique in their in-flight feeding! Link to comment

tm_j 30 Posted August 1, 2008 Thanks Ricardo! It's a lucky shot for me because it was completely unintended and unexpected. Someone told me he had tried to get an in-flight feeding shot like this for two years and he did get one sharper than this one but the shot angle is a bit more obscure. I did not see the significant of this till I heard the in-flight feeding term. It's hard enough to get feeding swallow shot (they are very fast) but to get in-flight feeding shot is definitely a task. Ever since I heard this photographer comment of in-flight feeding, I feel like I had hit the lottery :-) Link to comment
kenlassen 0 Posted August 18, 2008 Excellent capture Tim...luck or no luck! Thanks for your recent comments on my Hummingbirds. I don't do HDR but I do use PS to enhance my images. Some would say I use "too much" manipulation...I say it's the results that count when dealing with perception of images. What else truly matters? Regards, Ken Link to comment
tm_j 30 Posted August 18, 2008 Thanks Ken! as long as one have fun shooting/creating then that's all that really matter :-) Link to comment
