I took this for my friend JOHN WRIGHT who does nature shots. We were

on a boat at dusk (sunset tour) and I saw them. This is for him and

my friends. I don't know if I am every going to get the chance to get

"birds" like this again. ~ YEAH I got some birds :) ~ thanks for

looking!

Nice crisp focus on the pair of Ospreys. I like that you have included the the background to give a sense of location. So often with nature shots the temptation to get in close and crop leave the critters suspended in a void.

Darwin & Maggie and I have been waging war with one of these ospreys for a few weeks now. The sneaky bird keeps coming back to try and snack on the trout in my pond, whenever it thinks we are not looking.

I was so thrilled when I got this. I too could not crop out the background because that shows where they are at. We are at the PERDIDO BAY in between Florida and Alabama.

This was hard hit by the Hurricanes Ivan and Dennis and I used to live just about a mile away from here on the beach. If you look at my building folder you will see the house I used to live in. So for me this capture is even more special. I wouldn't crop out the scenery because it is part of me and where this was taken. :)

Hi Micki.

Looked at all your new stuff and am impressed. More journalistic/documentary look to the people pix.Nice timing. Really liked your Ospreys and the out of focus background homestead. Just thought there were too many unimportant bits and pieces of color and blobs, that were distracting, making it hard to concentrate on the prime and particularly the secondary subject.

Focused on the birds :)

See I was still looking at the houses. LOL

Shows I'm not a bird watcher. HA

I don't know if I'm ever going to be good at this bird thing. HA HA

Thank you so much I love how those eyes pop!
