lusty, busty monochrome. i like the tones but it would have been interesting to see a higher level of contrast as well. saying that, the present muted look adds to the atmosphere. the model is not pretty but she is interesting. i have your framing captures all of that interest.

David, your comment on "jellyfish" led me to your gallery! I'm glad it did! First, I would like to comment on the photo above. I viewed both the color and B&W and I kept bouncing back and forth to decide which I liked best. Being an old B&W film man, I chose this one! Secondly, I RARELY discuss the "beauty of a model", however, the comment above is just wrong. She is beautiful. With that said, I enjoy the feel of this one. The pout is engaging, the hand positioning and hair lights are managed very well! It's a fine photo! Well done to you both! Finally, I'll be back to view more of your work. Take care...Doug

Hi, Doug! Thanks for the kind words. I wouldn't presume to get into a debate with anyone on what or who is beautiful, that's purely subjective, but I do find the model quite beautiful as well. She holds (for me) a classic voluptuous look that is missing in so many of today's so-called "models". But, as I said, to each his own.

I prefer the b&w version. However, that said, I have to say I don't like this pose much - it kind of reminds me of a portrait studio shot. She looks like a great model to work with and the expression is good, imo. I just find the hand under the chin kind of cheezy. :)
