mark_q 0 Posted July 28, 2008 A very fine addition to your previous photo with mixed ambient and artificial light we discussed earlier. This is about what I'd loved to capture too - if I could. I would love to know the time of this exposure vs the time of Sunset, this because the very fine tonal balance and the mood of the bluish port area. Interesting note is that you didn't get any starburst effect around those streetlamps, something my R1 all too easily creates. Almost forgot: very pleasing composition. Bravo! Link to comment
janc 0 Posted July 29, 2008 Thanks for your words. I knew you like this shot :-) I have some more of this kind and will process them in short. It was shot with nikon D300, lens 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR DX Zoom-Nikkor at 60 mm = 90-35, Filter B&W 010 UV-HAZE, 3200 ISO, F11, 1/20, time was 08 07 22, 21:40:30 in Cabo de Palos, south-east spanish coast. Original NEF raw 14 bits, reduced to size, no noise reduction at all, procesed with Capture NX2. My best regards. Link to comment
