Thank you Ana for your support for this photo! I think she was not in great mood to perform (sing and dance)... but there was no choice but to go on. Right now she's bolstering herself to start her street performance for the day.

Have I captured what's going on in her mind/heart?

Agonizing decision making 'Its a job and --' well captured expression. To me it is a bit too dark I like to see the texture of her facial skin. The vertical pole and bright light in front is distracting.

I used Shadow highlight and opened the shadow +14 then increased the contrast by +10 and finally cropped the picture eliminating the pole and light. Play with it see what you think.

You have such an impressive and massive portfolio, wonderful.

The vertical pole in this photo is the microphone stand and the distracting white thing is the reflected light on the microphone. I included them in the frame because I thought they would help explain who she is and what she's about to do. Now I understand they could be distraction to those who had not seen the scene.
