paolo de faveri 1 Posted July 28, 2008 The Pyramides Calcaires are a wonderful mountain formation at the top of the Val Veny in Valle d'Aosta, Italy, and are part of the Monte Bianco range. At the end of a day spent hiking at high altitudes, I was well rewarded with this glorious sunset while on my way back. Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time. Details: Eos 400D, Sigma EX-DG 24-70 f2,8, tripod. This picture is a stitch of 4 horizontal frames, and a GND 4x was used on the upper frame. Link to comment

deleteaccount 0 Posted July 29, 2008 I think the lighting and subject make this a great shot, i'm not sure why I keep looking at the foreground, although there is nothing to really grab my attention it still has me looking. The river only leads my eye to the middleground and feels unsettled. However that lighting and mountain peak is gorgeous. Link to comment
