birds Gallinule with Apple Snail

Usually I've seen the Limpkin feasting on the Apple Snail but today the

Gallinule got there first.

This one caught my eye while rating photos. I really like the right side of the image, and I was wondering- what would it look like if you cropped the photo so that it's a vertical image, with the head and snail being the main part of the image. I think that the back part with the reed over it distracts from the main focus- the snail being carried by the bird. It's a lovely picture, and a fun moment. Thanks for sharing it!

This is a fetching photo; but I to would like to see a tighter crop on the main subjects head, I think that would probably get a 7/7 from me.

It's basically a busy scene which I didn't view as a great photo. But it was of interest to me since I had never seen the gallinule with an Apple Snail.
