The Shark's Fin and Lone Pine Peak in the Alabama Hills near Lone Pine

California. A B&W conversion with a Ektalure Cream toning.

I can tell you put a lot into this shot. Your tonal range rocks! Your compostion is right on and I really like the way the dirt road leads up to the mountains. I know you and Chris ran into some hazy conditions but it ain't showing in this shot. AA would have given you a 10 on this shot. I'd do the that but they only let me go 7/7..Lefty

Ahhh, now you've done it! This is really quite extraordinary; and it is just perfectly processed. There's a really nice soft transluscent quality to the sky that makes this work so well. Some how it is though you've incorporated that hazy sky and really made it work to your advantage. I guess what I'm trying to say is that this image, to me, has a dream-like quality. Excellent work, Big Guy! Cheers! The Bear

Very nicely composed Leo. When you look on this photo diagonally is easy to assume that one part is almost white whereas second is dark. There is small portion pf clouds in top left corner which looks amazing when you view larger photo. It is lovely shot!!! Regards

This one is indeed amazingly beautiful. Composition and cropping are very tight, but it works. I agree about the PP: flawless.
