anthonyd 0 Posted July 25, 2008 I find myself wanting to see a wider shot of this, so that I can see more af the row of rocks to the left. That is, if there are more in the row. Two things I really like about this one. First is that growth on the lower part of the large stone. It looks like it's glowing from the sunlight. Second is the overall feeling of the scene. With this stone being the only one standing tall, it makes it feel as though it is the last survivor amoung them. The stone does not have a feeling of strength or pride about it. It looks kind of lonely actually. Just sitting there watching another of countless sunrises, having no one to share it with and waiting for its turn to join the others. A far different feeling than I would expect to get from a shot of neolithic stones. Fine job Rich! ~Anthony Link to comment

pnital 36 Posted July 30, 2008 Rich, interesting! , as the stone on the R has a form of a woman's head covered with a head scarf ,looking at the light in the BG.... I like the color palette and the strong feeling of formation in nature history the scene is avoking. Link to comment
sheryl_w__blue_mt._ 0 Posted July 31, 2008 I like the softness of the sky with the boldness of the stones... I can see myself sitting comfortably in the cranney of the tall stone on the right, as I imagine several others have sat before... nice image Link to comment
dave holmes 0 Posted August 1, 2008 Definitely one for the ages. The positioning of the stones in the frame is just right. Beautiful. Link to comment
jan_piller 0 Posted August 4, 2008 I tend to agree with Anthony - wouldn't mind seeing just a couple more stones - but nevertheless, still a stunning image. I wouldn't want to be anywhere near your alarm clock though...... Link to comment
