Steps to the Monument

WWII Japanese Relocation Camp (Prison, really) at Manzanar,

California. The cemetery monument can be seen at the center of the

image (compositionally placed there on purpose ;o) I appreciate any

comments.

This is very well done, and with the late-afternoon sun over the Sierras and the framing of the tree on the right it really evokes some emotion. I think I might have tried to shift around and find a camera location that allowed me to include the framing of that great tree, maybe brought me a little closer to the steps, and eliminated the tree on the left side; but, all in all, you have succeeded well with this photograph. This has to be the best image of the area that I have seen. I seem to hit the place off season. The flowers really make the shot. Nice work.
