Hi, LouAnn! I love the textured wall and the bold color on the trim...interesting that they chose red for the blinds...makes me interested to see this place on the inside...they are definitely not color-phobic! :) The simplicity of this image and the bold color make me remember...

Good one Lou Ann! I like your composition, having the empty space on the right is cool. Kind'a reminds of Sarah's style, but different in a nice way. Regards.

Walt - I actually started my initial comment with "Been thinking about Sarah lately...." but decided not to start with such a sad note. You're so right, though - I thought of her every time I shot a wall when I was in Arizona, and whenever I've started post processing these images.....

Yeah, I know what you mean about a sad note, Lou Ann. But life goes on and the people that we loved really never die. I think it is good to keep them around inside of us when we are out and about doing what we enjoy, if only to keep us honest ;0).

Wanted to say that I'm happy you got on page Numero Uno of the TRP with this one. Well deserved! Regards.

Thanks, Walt - I never saw it at #1 - that lovely shot of the monkey in water with snow on him was first every time I looked. But I have seen it on the front page from within a couple of hours of posting it. I'm very pleased!

Lou Ann I guess we're on the same wavelength . . . . upon seeing this image, I immediately thought of Sarah. . . . I like this very much.. . . the color spectrum, composition and texture work perfectly together. . . a very nice variation on a theme.

Another well captured shot! Apart from the striking colours, I also love the textures on the wall. By the way, I tried to visit the site you have linked on your main page but it didn't connect. Perhaps just temporary, I will try and visit again. BTW, this reminds me of Sarah's lovely images. No one image in particular...just the general feel. Also, I loved the Pots story, that was just hilarious and poignant.
