temet from above

the giant dunes of temet (niger) seen from above. the dunes reach a

height of 300m and count among the highest in the world. though the

detailed structures change, the major dunes are quite stationary

I find this very interesting! And it makes me think about the small and big, close and distant, long and short etc! About the relativity of the reality! Thank you for showing it!

thank you for your comments.you might be interested to know how these dunes look from a pedestrian level. the attached photo shows a spot i visited a year later, it's in the dune valley in the lower center (you might even figure out the exact spot)
