paolo de faveri 1 Posted July 24, 2008 Playing for a while with my new toy, the amazing B+W 110 filter, a 1000x ND filter capable of 10 stops of light reduction! And this, without the slightest loss in terms of image quality!!!!!! I took this picture yesterday afternoon in full daylight, but with the use of that filter I was able to set an exposure time of 15" @f16. This is actually a stitch of three vertical frames, and the uncommon contrast of shadows and highlights is caused by fast moving clouds partially obscuring the sun during the exposures. The location is the Val Veny, a small wild valley at the feet of the Monte Bianco massif in Valle d'Aosta, Italy. The Dora Baltea River has its sources from one of the many glaciers of the Monte Bianco, the Miage glacier. Your c&c are highly appreciated, thanks for your time.
