I'm continually amazed how you can orchestrate the clouds and rocks to align with whatever your point of interest is.... dang, all I can get from them is discord :-) Seriously, a marvelous capture that gets the "Just like being there" seal of approval... thanks for sharing... Mike

Great shot. Atmospheric and evoking. Love the way you capture the movement.

It's a beautiful image , but I feel like there are a million just like it on photo.net. The sun rising or falling. The waves coming in. The rocks in the foreground.

 

It is very well done, good technique, but I don't think it is original. We all have our unoriginal moments though.

 

My thoughts

Great shot Simon as usual. Love the composition, colors, etc. Yes it might not be as original as some shots, but so what, it is still a beautiful image, well done.

No HDR, this is just a straight exposure.
