mvisionphotography 1 Posted August 1, 2008 Your amazing (shhh I won't tell anyone) ~ ok I just did. Your style is your own and you keep your style true to you. I will say I was disappointed that someone really didn't wear a "blue" wedding dress (sigh) but then again it was 1am. :) I am new to weddings and I will probably NOW spend thousands of hours peering over your work (ok I will bookmark you and keep looking back honestly). I have found that I have become a professional only through my internet friendships and by studying from afar. Again you are amazing. PN doesn't tell people that enough! This look in this womans eyes tells you that YOU were able to be there in an intimate moment and she let you IN. That is wonderful! :) Link to comment
laverephoto 0 Posted August 4, 2008 I seem to connect pretty well with brides. Its funny because I can be pretty uncompromising about what I think looks best and I stand up to Moms, and maids of honor to get the shots I want. Usually the brides get it that I am really standing up for them because I am totally focused on making them look great. My photography isn't about MY style or MY technique its about making people look their best because that is the kind thing to do. Thanks for the compliment. A friend was telling me last week that often in your career you realize that what you thought your job was about was wrong and that it is really about something else that you are just learning. So portrait photography is really about being compassionate and I am starting to learn that, I hope. Link to comment
