Waterfall at Childs Park.

This was before I had a warming filter!! I realize I could adjust this in photoshop but I chose to leave it as is to try and be true to what was taken in camera.

Sorry folks I just could not resist posting this for critique. It

truly is a beautiful spot in the Pocono Mtns in PA.

The image seems to have a bit of a cyan cast. I think you can also bring more detail out in the shadows with curves.

It might be even better if you cropped about 10% off the top. That way you could get rid of the distracting white patches of sky showing through the foliage.

The bare branch sticking down from the top is also distracting and adds nothing, but the branches in the lower foreground, overhanging the rushing water, are a nice touch.

Overall, a very pleasing composition.

John - you have one the most impressive portfolios I've seen. Incredible work ! I've bookmarked your web site.

Thank you very much for the tip on curves adjustment with my Bridge at Upper Falls HDR shot. I went in and tried it out myself to see if I could replicate what you did. I almost got it.

I think from this point forward I will implement curves adjustment as one of the final steps in my workflow. I was concentrating so much on the HDR technique that I didn't even realize I was losing my contrast.

Thank you very much !
