janisok 0 Posted July 20, 2008 You just never know what he might do, and they love it! Note to all women...never, ever let your husbands try on a pair of overalls. They will never take them off. Believe me this man never thought he would love them soooo much. Kinda like elastic for women! Gotta love em! Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted July 20, 2008 What a delightful and humorous photo. Love Paw Paw expression. It tells a cute story, and one can only imagine what the boys were saying or doing to bring PawPaw's hands on the two faces of the boys. Paw still wearing those overalls? I enjoy photos like this that show humor! Nicely done. Thanks for stopping by to see a little of Texas. Link to comment
katzpjs 50 Posted July 21, 2008 This is really a great shot and many years from now the boys will still love it. I outgrew my overalls 25 years ago, so maybe it is time for me to buy another pair. I really loved them. Link to comment
tammysphotos 0 Posted July 21, 2008 I love this, Janis! They must all have such a wonderful and silly time together. p.s. your man looks properly hydrated to me! ;) Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted July 21, 2008 Thanks Tammy, they really love hanging out together! That's not the picture. I'll have to search for that one! Love that new bio pic. You look really healthy and happy, hope all is going well. ~j Shawn....step away from the overalls!! If you made it this long w/o wearing them, I feel sure you can fight the feeling. Thanks for the nice comment on the shot. ~j Link to comment
margaret1 0 Posted July 22, 2008 Janis, I LOVE this! It is just precious. Besides the compositon, the colors are great, the whole thing is perfect. Congrats! This goes on my favorite list. Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted July 22, 2008 Margaret, thank you! I have had this shot a long time and have always loved it and decided to share! The boys are much taller and PawPaw is 40lbs lighter!! I love his straight face and if you look close they are laughing hard under those hands. Thanks Margaret! ~j Link to comment
jeffl7 0 Posted July 31, 2008 He knows a thing or two about parenting boys. What's a feller to do when the kids won't smile and say cheese? Great photo. Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted August 4, 2008 Yes he is our official "quieter"....not really, he makes them laugh VERY LOUD!!! We love our "PawPaw! ~j Link to comment
kim_tural 0 Posted August 5, 2008 Great playful moment! I love all the blues and accent reds and great background too! Large hands, such tiny faces . . .big smile! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted August 7, 2008 Not only do the pose, the setup, and the expression work so well but the photograph enhances the action. I find the strong but various blues offset by the dabbles of red, from their hoods to the tags on their zippers to the bit peeking out from his overalls to, of course, the berries behind them to be a perfect accompaniment to the playfulness but also directness of the "characters." Very well done capture of life as it happens. Link to comment

michaelhills 0 Posted February 12, 2009 Ha! A classic! What a hoot... and yet powerful at the same time. Hey Janis, you tried toning this into BW? I reckon there might be something 'timeless' you could inject into it just to get a different feel to the colour one. :) Link to comment
janisok 0 Posted February 13, 2009 Hey Michael, I have not done any B/W conversion. I was so taken by the color. I guess I am off to see what I can do with it ....Thanks Michael. ~j Link to comment
