jennifercatron 9 Posted July 19, 2008 Great shot. I know you purposely put the ball thing in the foreground, but in this particular shot it's more of a distraction than an interesting foreground that draws your eye to the background. Link to comment
ritachi 0 Posted July 19, 2008 Beautiful image. Excellent colors and depth, a good idea the ball on the left side it gives more depth. Ciao. Link to comment
reighamsyde 0 Posted July 19, 2008 the ball thing is something to do with an anchor. As it happens Jennifer was right but wrong and I will explain. The ball thing was in the picture from the start (I didnt clone it in) but it was to dark. I therefore duplicated the image lightend the dark parts up and pasted them on to what was aready there in the first place then errazed and tidyed the edges up. Link to comment
pnfphotography 0 Posted July 22, 2008 Very dramatic look and one that draws the eye into the image. Link to comment
flash445 0 Posted July 22, 2008 there are as many ways to take a picture of a beach as there are grains of sand the trick is to make it interesting there is a line of force that follows the ball, the two piles of seaweed and on to the bright point in the sunset. it parallels the reflections of the sun off the water on the sand. it leads the eye to the subject. there is an interesting and color and texture to the image I see it as a beautiful and unique piece of work Link to comment
