The Devil You Say

The edge of a weather front at sunrise on Lossiemouths beach. Sunrise itself was an insipid affair but I watched its approaching clouds with interest knowing full well that a spectacular light show often accompanies. Eventually I got this with the blue eyes of the devil searing through a thick bulge of cloud. Once the thought occurred to me I literally felt the hackles on the back of my neck stiffen.
