Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 20, 2008 Really good picture, especially with the inky black of her lifted top stamping the image on the prairie sky. She's like a hootchie-kootchie dancer of the plains. Link to comment
defrang 0 Posted September 11, 2008 My kind of image, mysterious and powerful content. One of a kind. Link to comment

juan-de-santa-anna 0 Posted April 3, 2009 I often wonder why there are so few comments here...Obvious to me the truck driver is driving into the ditch...as I would have too seeing this Prairie Princess Flash the universal sign of...beauty. Not a cloud. Have more of this series? Link to comment

cyanatic 0 Posted October 22, 2010 This is not some prurient shot of a woman flashing on a roadside. It appears to me as a multi-layered bit of Americana that, though original, echoes many things. It simultaneously mocks and pays homage to the convention of the male fantasy "Show me your _____!" There is also a sense of American Womanhood on the Plains...a triumphant Statue of Liberty meets Dorothea Lange meets Jack Kerouac meets Friedlander in a tongue-in-cheek mash-up. It's funny, it's attractive, it's thoughtful, it's reverent and quintessentially American all at the same time. Link to comment
cyanatic 0 Posted December 13, 2014 I had to round out my wanderings through your portfolio by coming back to this photo. For many reasons it is one of my favorites. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted December 31, 2015 Great photo. The processing supports the content. Iconic view of a simple scene. For me, would have been better without the bra! Link to comment
