I cannot even imagine the process of getting this one into this high quality level. The light is splendid and the amount of detail is awesome. Very fine and even beautiful portrait of this nasty bug.

Perfect work. Only the small sharp part (leg?) left of the trunk is a bit disturbing. Perhaps you can fix this by using a layer with this part beyond the DOF. Regards

Jody this is a vrey fine shot with good details and lighting on the eyes. Although imho, i think the colors especially the ones at the lower half of the frame are very warm to my taste.

Wow. how did you get the metallic texture in the eyes? Sometimes dragoflies can look like this, but not flies. Excellent detail and colors

I am super impressed with this clear image. One can even see follicles. I pull these ticks out of my dog. Very best..Marjorie
