This is such a marvelous image, it has a heavy locational ambience, the muted colours and tone seep into your skin, its easy to become seduced by its subliminal decor. i think the frame is integral to the pictorial space and that without it the landscape would be denied an aesthetic anchor. yum. it is so painterly, and i have to say, just fantastical.

I found the DOF a lot disturbing on this one Steph.
