ldavidson 4 Posted July 15, 2008 Hi Chuck, this is wonderful. I admire you editing skills, but I think this would probably be great untouched. This car has so much character. I love the light, the colours, the texture, and the composition. Very well done. Link to comment

my pics1 0 Posted July 15, 2008 Is there such thing as a "rusty" filter? That's what we got here. I like it. Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted July 16, 2008 Exposure date is September - for me the colors fit very well - and if the chassis is ok, buy and restore...! Well done Chuck, regards, El Link to comment
lizweisiger 0 Posted June 27, 2009 This is just great, Chuck. Glad I caught it on the Daily Sampling. I love the scene and composition, all the details fit into a wonderful story. Did you drive it away? Link to comment
dan_south 0 Posted June 27, 2009 Elegant subject and excellent composition. I like the relation of the car to the garage, the coke machine, and the rest of the frame. In particular I like the fact that you didn't crop the windows on the side of the garage and on the garage door. It would have been easy to overlook this, but you just squeezed them all in. The yellow color is a little over the top for my taste, but if that's the effect that you were going for, then that's great. I might have cooled it down just a tad. Otherwise, it's a top notch image. color 3 Posted June 29, 2009 Hi, well, no, I didn't drive it away. The old cars I photograph look cool, but getting one going, whew!, no thanks, too much work. I've bought a few old motorcycles in the past and found out that for me it wasn't worth the work it took to get them streetable again. I'm sure old cars offer the same kind of prospect. I'd rather just take a photo. Link to comment
color 3 Posted June 29, 2009 Yazeed, Dan, thanks for your comments. And Dan, I did want the over the top yellow. I know what you mean, but I did/do like it this way. Link to comment
