lesa jones 0 Posted July 14, 2008 I saw this young Mother teaching her small daughter how to fish. I thought is was a touching and sentimental moment that is played out everyday as parents pass on knowledge to their children. Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted July 15, 2008 Thanks Mary, I was concerned about the little bit of softness that I added to hopefully enhance the sentimental aspect, so I am glad you liked it. Regards...LJ Link to comment
bob_belanger 1 Posted July 16, 2008 Family moments like these are touching. I like the B&W touch as well. Link to comment

dave holmes 0 Posted July 17, 2008 Hi Lesa. Good shot. Wait till she gets a big catfish on there, you might have to help with the net. Compositionally I like how the derricks in the background have a fishing-like look to them. Link to comment
lesa jones 0 Posted July 17, 2008 Dave, I was more worried about the toddler falling off the ledge there (about 3 foot drop) than if she was actually going to catch anything besides sea weed. I watched the duo for quite a few minutes and just suddenly realized that it was a timeless image in front of me. So as the sun faded behind the Mobile skyline and the lights of the shipbuilders began to show up, I took the shot. Thanks for stopping by. Regards...LJ Link to comment
corkman 0 Posted July 18, 2008 Great eye for picture "stories" as usual Lesa, and nicely executed in BW. Link to comment
