Neither ... It is just an ordinary shot, no HDR, no other techniques ... Bright day and shadows around ... f8.0, EV -2.3, 1/250 s, ISO 200, Auto WB. Just increased the contrast by using levels in PS-CS2, unsharp mask and slight increase in colours ... No other manipulations ... Thanks for the comment, friend ...

I really like the way you "shot" these birds. Great light that emphasizes the subject, it's almost like a poster.
