Mule and Cart, New Orleans (Before the Fall)

Visited New Orleans the winter before Katrina. This cart was parked in

the Garden Quarter, near Anne Rice's house. The business, I was

informed, had been in existence for nearly a century.

 

This is a reworking of an earlier post.

very nice! i first thought this was maybe a photo of an old toy, but of course the mule is a live one. i live not far from New Orleans, and this is a very iconic scene.
