Elephant on the Maasai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya

I watched a documentary this afternoon on the women of the Maasai tribe in East Africa and got to thinking about my time spent there, interacting with the Maasai on our safari. There are SO many images that I haven't even begun to process yet. And it was a year ago. So I thought I'd share some shots of elephants with you. This herd was walking past us as a rain storm was starting.

I love elephants! This one looks very cute. I think it's a really nice photo. Africa seems like a lovely place to take pictures....I hope to travel there one day.

Lou Ann, this picture would make a perfect candidate for a bit of PS fun. The elephant's border is easy to isolate - you can lift the creature to a different background, like on your street! :-)
