Shine through

Taken just outside of the ochocoforest.

Excellent colors, very powerful. I like the layers of the image, the grass, to the hills, to the mountains. The only thing im not sure about is the placement of the flowers in the foreground. Im not sure where i would have placed them personally, but they are necessary for the color, but dont seem to be balanced well.... I think if they were maybe placed off to the side some, it would have felt a little bit more natural. Then again, i could have tried and found that centered to be prefered anyway. Eitherway, this picture has a great 3d like quality to it and the colors are great.

Great photo Don, I love the colours, light, etc and especially the depth to the photo. Am no expert, but I think Dan has made a good point on the positioning of the flowers, but maybe the positioning does add to the photo as it leads the eye in very well....?

Thanks for the comments guys. I put this one on becuae it does kind of lead the eye through the photo,, but i understand what you mean by the position of the flowers, i have a few different compositions of this photo maybe i will try putting a different one on, and see if it helps the picture.

Great image with good use of foreground elements

I like this composition very much with the flowers introducing into the picture. I think if your wanted to adjust their position a slight move to the right would help to emphasize the diagonal layout of the flowers. But it is nice as it is

Here is a little tighter crop, but i dont think it changes the energy too much. It kind of takes away from that middle hill thats illuminated, I have a landscape picture of this same spot that i think i like better.
