Hi Jim, a pity there is not a few clouds in the sky - but we cannot always choose - unfortunately - actually where I leave this is the other way round, I would not mind a bit less clouds from time to time ;-)......and it seems the light conditions were harsh, but you managed well with great B&W conversion. I really like this composition a lot. The contrast is also excellent. But there is quite some banding in the sky, I hope it is just due to JPEG compression. Nevertheless, congrats with this winner.

This is a great photo. I like the contrast of the two trees, they have different shapes and while the other is rich in foliage the other is not. The title is very appropriate too even if the two trees belong to different species, I presume. Congratulations, Tim - Lester
