Hi Bob did you use the cars as a form of frame to compensate for the distance? Or as a reference point as in (here near) and (there) ? I understand the story I think.

Hi Dara,

It was difficult to shoot the scene between the cars to improve the composition and bring in more beach, sea and sky.

Maybe the foreground with the cars contributes to the unesthetic beach scene.

It was a dreary and uninspiring spot and maybe the photo worked.
