paolo de faveri 1 Posted July 11, 2008 Hello everybody, the Rosset is a wonderful glacial lake placed right at the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, the largest wild area of Italy. The park is located in the Western Alps between Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta, and include within its borders the massif of the Gran Paradiso, the only 4000 m. entirely in Italian territory. The Rosset lake is the perfect setting for capturing the GP range at sunset. Unfortunately a strong wind was blowing, so no crisp reflection was possible. However, I think the strong alpine glow alone made fro a pleasant scene. How do you feel about that? Your C&C are highly appreciated, thanks for your time, Paolo Details: Eos 400D, Tokina ATX-Pro 12-24 f4, tripod, GND 4x. This is a stitch of 2 vertical frames Link to comment
eugenio_pastor_benjumeda 0 Posted July 11, 2008 Hello Paolo. It's for me a pleasure to look at this image both for its beauty as for the memories that brings to me. I climbed that mountain several years ago (over 2000). First I went to the Vittorio Enmanuele refuge and the day after, very early, I attacked the top of the Grand Paradiso. Thank you very much for this kind image. Eugenio. Link to comment

lonebearimages 0 Posted July 11, 2008 Beautiful photograph; and some extraordinary light. I feel like I am sitting at the lake's edge watching this with you. Very nicely done, my friend. I hope you are enjoying the long days of summer. Cheers! Chris Link to comment
