These people are part of a bigger group of Iranian people who love and

promote 'P E A C E' ; to whoever whose heart are filled with hate!

In that occasion when I was trying to find a complete rainbow in full in

order to take a photo, (you could see it in the background), I met them.

They asked me to send their image with a message of "LOVE" to the

President of America, Mr George W. Bush. I tried to tell them I was not

able to. They insisted so much that I did NOT want to break their

hearts.

So I am uploading their images with their 'EACE OFFERING' here,

perhaps somebody closer to president George W. Bush give their

message to him !

They are representive of three (3) generations of Iranian population.

The man with dark glasses educated in the West and now prefered to

stay in Iran to earn more money.

The lady with 'Chaddur', an Islamic traditional covering is a grandmother

with 9 grandchildren.

The third man on the right is a farmer and a jack of all trades.

Although your image bears a gesture of goodwill, still i believe that P E A C E can not be offered, taught or cultivated in souls who are so recklessly bent upon destroying it. Those forces know very well the importance of well being of humanity, to encourage harmony, and to develop education, health and economics at grass root level. BUT DON'T DO IT as all these IDEALS of a PEACEFUL and HARMONIOUS life directly clash with their VESTED INTERESTS! so this OFFERING OF PEACE, my friend, is for you and me! not for THEM! best regards!

Excellent idea Kambiz! But, my friend, I think we should also add the following to your twenty points for peace:

1. Do not provocatively "test" fire rockets across shipping lanes, as your countrymen have been doing,

2. Do not continue to develop an aggressively hostile nuclear program,

3. Do not foster an environment in which children believe that killing one another is a pathway to heaven.

As an ignorant child, whenever I would come home from school all bloody from head to toe after beating the crap out of my classmates, my Dad would scold me and say that it "takes two to fight". I am sure that Mr. Bush would love to come to a peaceful settlement, but your leaders, too, have to be of a like mind.

I give you a 7/7 on your efforts, though. Regards.

But the text in your request I copied and saved as a word document! I'm teacher of Peace, tolerance & protection. But my glorious government supported by G.W.B. abolished that subject in our schools! See, we have a lot in common Kambiz!

Well put Kambiz and beautifully pictured including the rainbow. Most countries of the world (including both the US and Iran) are inhabited by plenty of intelligent, rational and peace-loving citizens. Unfortunately the governments of most countries hardly ever seem to include any of those same intelligent, rational and peace-loving citizens. Let us hope that this will change soon, and that the many disastrous events that have occurred during the past eight years will finally instill some remorse, humility and decency into the minds of those who claim to be our leaders.

Hi Kambiz

Aside from the title there is little indication that this is a peace gesture to GWB. it's a nice photo nonetheless but I think it would work so much better if it was in context visually.

Perhaps you could do a photo journalistic project on this group of people to get the message out.

Keep on shootin
