Here's a shot that ran in the London Daily Telegraph Magazine in 1969

to illustrate an article, "Twilight of a Colonly," by an up-and-coming

travel writer and novelist, V.S. Naipaul. I happened to be in Belize

doing a color feature for the Philadelphia Bulletin Sunday Magazine,

shot some Tri-X in my wanderings about that desperately-poor colonial

capital, sent the images to Camera Press, an agency in London that

handled my material occasionally, and the Telegraph picked up two

photos. Naipaul did go on to achieve a certain degree of success in

the literary world--to say the least! Cheers...Bill

that, apart the perfect timing and good composition, mix togheter (fully using the three-dimensional aspect of the photo) different human stories. Thank you for sharing, G.

Bill for many years I participaded in spiritual group. One of the members a Cuban women was married to a man from Belize. With this image you have made me remember my conversations with him and the dealings of our spiritual development. For that along the image is a 7/7 to me. Warm regards.
