paolo de faveri 1 Posted July 10, 2008 Hi everyone, this is the lago Leita, one of the uncountable glacial lake yo can find in the Gran Paradiso National Park, the largest - and wildest :-) - wild area of Italy. The peak in the foreground is the Punta Basei, with its glacier, an easy but wonderful climb. I took this picture yesterday evening a few minutes before sunset. This is a stitch of three horizontal frames. Your C&C are as alwais welcome, thanks for your time, Paolo Details: Eos 400D, Tokina ATX Pro 12-24 f4 Link to comment
sandersmc 0 Posted July 10, 2008 Not that you can control this but a nice "Simpson clouds" sky would have been the cherry on top for me:) Great shot. I love how the interest in the rocks in the lake made me wait long enough on it to really appreciate the interceting lines at the thirds positions. Link to comment
peter clark 0 Posted July 10, 2008 Hi Paolo, Looks like a wonderful place, great shot, probably be better if there had been no wind blowing at the time of exposure, would be good to see clear reflection of mountains in the water but Im just being a bit picky there, well done... Link to comment

milena_safrova 0 Posted July 10, 2008 This is a very nice clear photo with well arranged composition. I like the foreground how it goes smoothly through the green areas up to the pivotal point of the image. The single cloud in the sky is a super accent. Link to comment
