Yellow is a warm color and it often represents sunshine and joy, but it can also be used in a negative way to symbolize deceit and cowardice. In Egypt it is used for mourning and perhaps in this case it means that the character is going through some kind of dead in her relationships. I see this composition and the sign "The Outcast" is predominantly featured on top of an empty sofa. There is an expression of concern and thoughtfulness on the subject, perhaps she is the outcast in this drama. Link to comment
