elportebonheur 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Thank you dear friends for your visits and comments on the previous version of 'the other side'. Unfortunately ( silly me..) I made an upload mistake and decided to re-submit this one as 'version 2'. Sorry about the inconvenience I might have caused for all of you. Best regards, El Link to comment
mdineen 0 Posted July 8, 2008 excellent sense of depth in the large size. i had to shrink it i was so frightened! i think it's better not to know, but i can't help wondering, was she hanging from a rope? did she climb a tree? very well done. Link to comment

knobby6 1 Posted July 8, 2008 You climbed a tree to take this? Good perspective and I like the silky water. About 1/15 sec? Link to comment
elportebonheur 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Thank you to all of you for commenting on this one. I appreciate very much. To Mary and Monte: Neither I am a big hiker nor hanging down on ropes or climbing trees...Although I risk now to be downgraded from the 4/4's to 3/3's ;) the explanation is very simple: There was an other bridge 50 foot up from where I took the picture... To Monte: It is F22, 1/2 sec, ISO 100, focal lengh 51mm. Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Nice that you found the time to write your kind comment. In fact you are the initiator who convinced me to post this one. Unfortunately I made a cock-up with the original version. However, this one is for you - as a small thank you very much... Regards, El Link to comment

elportebonheur 0 Posted July 8, 2008 Thanks for your reply! No worry, photography is and remains a hobby for me and I'm not desperately seeking the thrill and/or sensation...However, inspired by other PN members I wanted to try my luck and shoot THAT bridge on the waterfall... I have been send back three times by officials because landslides blocked the road. In the end I made it and came back with the result above - risk free. Thanks again Mary, and take care. warm regards, El Link to comment
