You have a really cool concept here... there is just something missing. Maybe its that the blueness stands out so much that the viewers eye refuses to focus on it, and there is nothing else to focus on. The darkness in the yellow orange looks a bit like a boy, maybe burn it a bit? Or maybe its just missing a border or a more subject oriented title. I think part of it is that the 8 leans up and is a bit barrel distorted, and tilted and not-centered. What is this a picture of? Regardless, the concept is really cool.
