Devotion

My mother-in-law just moved in with us to help with the care of her only

grandchild. She is quite a remarkable woman, having raised five children

on her own after her husband died when her oldest was 10, and her

youngest a toddler. When I ask her how she managed, especially since

she often got so sick her children were afraid she would not survive, she

looked at me and said in a serious note that it is important to believe in

powers greater than yourself.
