I love the tilt of your abstract pattern and its colors. Very nice.

I have never seen a lock that has a cover over it with a small hinge as this one does. It is quite interesting.

In abstract fine art, these phrases come to mind: "Less is more", "Dare to be spare".

It only works if the composition is reduced to its lowest common denominator. You have done this here very effectively. The texture in the white space balances the strong tension between the complimentary colors in the lower right, as does the metal plate and painted shape surrounding it. The little ripple in the blue stripe (lower right) pointing to the upper left balances the busy-ness of the left third. Very well and intuitively laid out!
