Sprig on the Rocks

LenMarriott

Canon A540, 'P' mode, Auto ISO, 1\125 @5.5, 23.2mm (140mm equiv). -1\3 exposure compensation to minimize possible highlight blowouts. Minor tweaking in PS. Best, LM.

I like the vivid color and soft free form of the sprig vs. the rock hard formation with still some winter signs....It is like saying, I'm the spring messenger...

my association of the pigeon on Noah's boat, a messenger that the flood is over..... look how far you have taken me....;-))

Pnina, I love your interpretation. I just thought it was a cool detail in the greater wet surroundings. Thanks for your thoughts. They take me (us?) to a deeper level, always a good thing. Best, LM.

Len you have to check out Mark Hobson. I think he is a really cool photographer, who posts on Pnet. Your latest stuff reminds me of his work, which I really like. Keep this going Len. - Sean

Sean, Just had a peak at Mark's offerings & agree that he is indeed a fine photographer. Thanks for including my work & his in the same sentence. Keep it up? Well, I certainly will try to. Best, LM.
