lonebearimages 0 Posted July 4, 2008 A huge improvement over the color version. Sky is a little grainy, but may be a result of the JPEG compression on PN. Nicely done. Cheers! Chris Link to comment

karlwim 0 Posted July 4, 2008 Hi Tanni I think the B&W is much nicer than the colour photo. The texture is emphasised in the B&W and the photo is simplified which creates a stronger focus on the flowing lines of the dunes and the fantastic contrast created in the dune's crest. Bravo! I was initially bothered by the graininess (out of focus?) of the sand in front, but the more I look at it the more I think it is perfect. The black lines ("mini dunes") is a nice focal point in the foreground. Link to comment

whydangle 0 Posted July 7, 2008 Tanni, this is probably more intrigueing than the color version. One thing about conversions, if the colors are straying from the norm, a b&w will negate that instantly. I agree with Chris, there are some spots in the sky that need cloning out. The grain in the foreground is excellent. Fix the sky and its perfect!! Link to comment
